I have heard that the breath test has been dropped also due to the inaccuracy of the breathaliser units that are currently available to the general public, this does not mean of course that you can drive (ride) while under the influence of alcohol. Another law is that it is illegal in France to have radar/speed camera warning instruments/sat navs in your vehicle, there are also a lot more unmarked police cars now operating to catch out the unwary motorist. ja, das ist richtig.
Ich habe gerade meinen Zweitwohnsitz (unter der Woche) nach Stade verlegt, bin also "verzogen".
Bei Gelegenheit werde ich meinen Erstwohnsitz samt Gewerbe dorthin verlegen - falls wir (bessere Hälfte und ich) nicht noch berufsbedingt umziehen.
Aber eigentlich gefällt es mir dort sehr gut:
Tolle (hobbytolerante) Freundin mit eigenem Haus, ruhige Lage, tolle Nachbarschaft, Doppelgarage mit Grube...

The reflective issue on clothing in France has arisen again in the UK this time about the current law regarding helmets, it seems the French law now says that crash helmets now must have four four reflective areas on them (front, rear, and on each side). What next one would ask!

Would that be to reflect the Gendarmes speed camera guns rays?
